Abby Berman - Co-President

Abby is a Junior from New York City concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Environmental Science. At Brown, Abby is involved as an IBES peer advisor, a volunteer with Brown Market Shares, and as a peer adviser through both Women in Science and Engineering and the Meiklejohn Program. She also started the Sustained Pathways project to share relevant climate career advice from Brown alumni with Brown students via short form content. Outside of Brown, she works as the Sponsorship Manager and Producer for the CleanTechies Podcast. In her free time, she is often cooking or exploring Providence.

Fergus Bolton - Co-President

Fergus is a Senior from Edinburgh, Scotland, concentrating in International & Public Affairs and Migration Studies. Fergus’s interest in sustainable finance started with his family farm when he was young and grew while studying at Brown and learning about the power of financial institutions in driving systemic change. In his free time, Fergus is heavily involved in the music scene, participating in everything from musicals to a cappella.

Nathaniel Russo - Co-President

Nathaniel is a junior from New York City concentrating in Economics and Environmental Science and Studies. At Brown, he is an analyst with the ESG focused investment club SRIF, a volunteer with the campus-based local food distribution program Brown Market Shares, and a TA for Principles of Economics and Environmental Economics. This is Nathaniel’s third year with FSIcon, serving as the Co-Lead of the Speaker Relations team for the 2024 conference and Co-President for the 2025 conference. Nathaniel spent last summer as an analyst with the Investments team at the Coalition for Green Capital, the first national Green Bank in the US. Additionally, he has interned on the business development team at Brightcore Energy, a clean energy company, as well as with the New York League of Conservation Voters as a policy intern. In his free time, Nathaniel can be found cooking or baking with friends, exploring theater in Providence and Boston, and finding the best apple picking spots in Rhode Island.

Ayo Lin Ince - Co-President

Ayo is a senior from Princeton, New Jersey concentrating in business economics and entrepreneurship. She developed an interest for sustainable investing practices through her upbringing in China and exposure to the financial sector through consulting internship experiences. Beyond FSIcon, Ayo is currently an economics department teaching assistant, was a member of the Brown Consulting Club, and is an entrepreneur.

SPEAKER RELATIONS

Zoe Moustaka - Co-Lead

Zoe is a junior from Athens, Greece, and Medellín, Colombia, concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics and Entrepreneurship at Brown University. Her interest in sustainable finance was sparked by exploring how financial models could help solve environmental challenges. She is actively involved in the Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFI), Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), and Club Basketball. In her free time, Zoe enjoys discovering new coffee shops and taking walks around Providence.

Rosie Yanowitch - Co-Lead

Rosie is a Junior from San Francisco, California intending to concentrate in International and Public Affairs. Rosie developed her interest in impact investing as a fellow at Girls into VC, a program dedicated to bridging the gender gap in venture capital. She is passionate about sustainable food systems and is a coordinator for the Brown Market Shares Program. She spent the past summer interning and living at TomKat Ranch, an educational farm investing in regenerative agriculture.

 

Olivia Tingley-Kelley

Olivia is a senior from Philadelphia, PA studying Business Economics and Environmental Studies. This is her third year with FSICon. She is passionate about the sustainable economy, and is coming off a summer working as a renewable energy development intern at DESRI. Outside of academic pursuits, she is a member of the Varsity Women's Rowing team, and you can find her listening to music on the main green in her free time.

Jason Fu

Jason is a sophomore from Toronto, Canada and a prospective Applied-Math Economics and Urban Studies concentrator. At Brown, Jason is involved with the Brown Daily Herald and with the Canadians Students at Brown organization. In his free time, Jason is an amateur tennis player and avid indie music listener.

 

Marcello Rudofsky

Marcello is a Senior from New York City pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.A. in History. Passionate about climate and the energy transition, he will be joining CRC-IB, a renewable energy focused investment bank, as an analyst. In his spare time he enjoys visiting museums, drawing, and hiking.

Takumi Fujiwara

Takumi is a junior from Tokyo, Japan, concentrating in Computer Science and Developmental Economics. His interest in sustainable finance grew through experiences in entrepreneurship and policy making. He founded a startup in Japan developing AI to predict accidents in infrastructure pipelines and worked with a hydro-tech company in Chile, gaining firsthand exposure to sustainable innovation in emerging markets. At a broader scale, he serves as Japan’s delegate to the G20 Youth Summit, leading the Climate and Sustainable Environment track. These experiences shaped his commitment to co-creating sustainable solutions with local stakeholders while connecting them to decision-making frameworks that enable scale and longevity. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with friends, playing sports, and backpacking.

 

Tate Muller

Tatum is a junior from South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, studying Public Policy Economics and Environmental Science. On campus, she is a member of the Division I Women's Rugby team and is a volunteer for Project Access, providing college counseling services to students in developing countries. This past summer, Tatum was a Senior Research Analyst for QuiVive Global Advisory, delivering a capstone project focused on sustainability oriented investors and funds in the MENA region. In her free time, Tate enjoys reading and watching sports.

Averie Masia

Averie is a sophomore from New York concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics on the Mathematical Finance track. On campus, she is a member of two student-run dance companies, an Associate member of Women in Business, a tutor with the Partnership for Adult Learning, a TA for APMA 0650: Introduction to Probability and Statistics, and a Campus Tour Guide! Her summer internship at a FinTech startup sparked her interest in the immense energy demands of AI and the strategies needed to balance innovation and sustainability in its future. You can find her on long walks in India Point Park or reading on the Main Green during her free time.

 

Corporate Relations

Tina Li - Co-Lead

Tina is a senior from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, studying Applied Mathematics-Economics. This is her third year with FSIcon. Her interest in sustainable finance grew from analyzing renewable energy generation at ISO New England, the region's electricity grid operator. She has prior international internship experience in Berlin, Germany and Sydney, Australia, and will return to BNP Paribas as an Investment Banking Analyst in NYC after graduation. At Brown, Tina is a Meiklejohn Peer Advisor and an Economics department teaching assistant. In her free time, she enjoys running and swimming at the Nelson.

Ian Lee - Co-Lead

Ian is a sophomore from Singapore concentrating in Chemical Engineering and Economics. Having grown up in Houston, the energy capital of the world, he developed a strong interest in the intersection of energy systems and economic policy. At Brown, Ian is involved in research with the Department of Chemistry and serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Batteries Module in ENGN 0030 (Introduction to Engineering). He also works in the administrative department at the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society (IBES). Beyond academics, he enjoys rock climbing and exploring cuisines from around the world.

 

Lila Nottage

Lila is a senior from Nassau, Bahamas, concentrating in Business Economics and Environmental Science. This is her third year as a member of FSIcon’s Sponsor Relations team. Her interest in sustainability started with her upbringing in The Bahamas and grew as she was introduced to sustainable finance though her coursework at Brown. After graduation, Lila will be returning to Barclays as a Structured Credit Trading analyst in NYC.

Rowland Lawver

Rowland is a senior from Princeton, New Jersey, studying Economics and Environmental Science, on the Sustainable Development and Governance track. This is his first year with FSIcon. First becoming interested in environmental science through family vacations to national parks, he is passionate about using economic methods to drive sustainable change. This past summer he worked in the audit group with NRG Energy. Beyond academic pursuits, Rowland is a member of Brown’s varsity Swimming & Diving team and enjoys playing pickle-ball and tennis.

 

Luca Gwathmey

Luca is a sophomore from Alexandria, Virginia, concentrating in Economics on the Public Policy track. He developed a strong interest in sustainability through an internship this summer with an Amazon forest conservation organization. That experience, along with a recent visit to a nuclear power plant in Virginia, furthered his curiosity about clean energy and climate policy. At Brown, he serves as co-captain of the Recreational Ski Team and is a member of the E-board for No Empty Seats. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, pottery, and dance.

Harry Carino

Harry is a sophomore from Montclair, New Jersey concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics and Music. His interest in sustainable finance began when his uncle, an economist, started to teach him about regenerative economics. On campus, Harry volunteers with Bikes @ Brown and serves as the assistant music director of his a cappella group, the Bear Necessities. In his free time, you can find him biking around campus or working on a project in Brown's synth room.

 

Isabella Pucci

Isabella is a sophomore from London, United Kingdom and Cosenza, Italy concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics. At Brown, Isa is an active member of the Brown Fencing Team, Bruno Finance Society, TAMID and Women in Business. This summer, she worked at two investment firms in New York City and Hong Kong. In her free time, Isa enjoys trying new restaurants and watching movies.

Grace Zhong

Grace is a freshman from Sydney, Australia but attended high school in California, currently interested in studying Applied Math, Computer Science and English. On campus, Grace is involved in CCG, BTCG, SRIF and film clubs, particularly passionate about the intersection of the arts, tech and making impact. During her free time, she loves to cafe hop, travel, jam to music, learn new hobbies and hang out with friends.

 

Yallen Pedersen

Yallen is a sophomore from Geneva, Switzerland, concentrating in Applied Mathematics–Economics and Philosophy. At Brown, he serves as an editor for the Economics section of the Brown Journal of PPE, plays for the Brown Men’s Club Soccer team, and is a member of the Ethiopian-Eritrean Society. This past summer, Yallen interned in Copenhagen, Denmark, as a consultant at the procurement consulting firm Efficio. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano, playing soccer with friends, and taking walks around Providence.

 

Strategy And Operations

Arya Doshi - Co-Lead

Arya is a sophomore from Sarasota, Florida concentrating in Economics on the Business track. She developed her interest in sustainable investing after working with the plastic solutions nonprofit Global Green Journeys. At Brown, Arya is involved as an Inclusion Team Member of the Brown Entrepreneurship Program and an analyst in Brown Consulting Club. In her free time, she loves hiking, trying new coffee shops, and going to concerts.

Mahi Agarwal - Co-Lead

Mahi is a junior from Lucknow, India concentrating in Mechanical Engineering. She is eager to explore clean energy, sustainable finance, and social-impact entrepreneurship. At Brown, she is involved in the Global Brown Center, Women in Business, and Brown Bhairavi. She is also the Co-President of the Indian Students Association and a TA and Tutor for ENGN0410 (Materials Science). In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, playing music, going on food adventures, and petting dogs.

 

Jean-Luc Depardieu

Jean-Luc is a Junior from Easton, Connecticut studying Applied-Math Economics. He is a member of Brown Investment Group and an analyst for the Derivatives Investment Group. As mentioned by MN8's CEO last year, he would like to see portfolios full of solar and other clean energies begin to outperform those of fossil fuels, which has always been a setback to gaining investor support. In his free time, Jean-Luc is either sailing, surfing, or enjoying a concert.

Jean Yu

Jean is a junior from Bellevue, WA studying Applied Math-Economics. At Brown, she is involved with Fashion@Brown and in the chamber music program. Previously, Jean has interned with the J. Paul Getty Trust as an Investments Intern and has worked with the Brown Arts Institute as an undergraduate researcher. In her free time, Jean enjoys skiing and drinking tea.

 

Elena Salfiti

Elena is a junior from Amman, Jordan, concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics. This is her second year in FSIcon. In the past, Elena has interned as a Summer Analyst at Ajeej Capital in Dubai and as a Strategy intern at Bank al-Etihad and Abdali Hospital in Jordan. In her free time she enjoys listening to and playing music and exploring Providence.

Duru Huseyni

Duru is a Junior from Izmir, Turkey, concentrating in computer science and APMA-Econ. She is a teaching assistant in the CS department, and also in involved in consulting at Brown. In her free time, she likes to workout, cook, play the piano, and discover the food scene in Providence.

 

Ruby Rose Carlson

Ruby Rose is a Junior from Los Angeles concentrating in Economics and Environmental Studies. Her commitment to sustainability and leadership was ignited by her experiences as an avid hiker and backpacker, as well as being one of the first female Eagle Scouts. Ruby has further developed her passion through research at her high school entrepreneurship center and other esteemed institutions such as the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs and the UCSB Marine Science Institute. At Brown, Ruby actively participates in several organizations, including the Sustainable Business Society (SBS), the Socially Responsible Investment Fund (SRIF), and Women in Business (WIB). In addition to her academic pursuits, she enjoys singing and songwriting and aspires to produce and release her own music soon.

Brent Wong

Brent is a sophomore from Berkeley, CA, concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Urban Studies. This past summer, he worked with the Institute for Computational and Research Mathematics as an undergraduate researcher in data science. He is currently involved with GIS research, serves as the external outreach coordinator for the Applied Math Department Undergraduate Group, and serves as an executive editor for the Critical Review. In his free time, he enjoys playing pool, listening to new music with friends, and exploring New England.

Kabir Sheth

Kabir is a freshman from San Diego, California, planning to concentrate in Applied Math-Economics and Environmental Studies. He’s been passionate about nature and sustainability since he was young, and he hopes to continue exploring this interest through a financial lens. In his free time, Kabir enjoys hiking, singing, and lounging on the main green.

Tessa Tomkinson - Co-Lead

Tessa is a junior from the San Francisco Bay Area concentrating in Environmental Science: Sustainability in Development. This is her second year with FSIcon. Tessa spent the summer working at a sustainable Swedish startup, and is passionate about technology-driven climate solutions. At Brown, she is is a member of the Varsity Women’s Crew Team, Brown's Advisory Committee for University Resource Management, and a TA for introductory Environmental Science classes. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trivia, and watercolor.

Sofia Hernandez - Co-Lead

Sofia is a sophomore from New York City concentrating in Economics and Earth, Climate & Biology. She has long been passionate about the environment and conservation, and has previously conducted research about sustainable funding pathways for the World Bank, worked as a farmhand in Maine, and studied freshwater access in New York City with National Geographic. At Brown, Sofia is also a Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Sol, a trip leader for the Brown Outing Club, and a member of women's club basketball. In her free time, she can be found going on long walks, playing her favorite songs on guitar, and taking day trips to explore New England.

 

Sofia Benedetti

Sofia is a senior from São Paulo, Brazil, concentrating in Economics and History. At Brown, she serves on the executive board of the Sustainable Food Initiative and works as an economics tutor and leader at the Sheridan Center. Last summer, she interned with J.P. Morgan Private Bank LatAm in New York City. In her free time, Sofia enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to the gym, and spending time with friends.

Mimi Tarantelli

Mimi is a senior from London, United Kingdom and Rome, Italy, concentrating in Economics and History. This is her second year with FSIcon. This summer, Mimi worked for the previous Secretary General of the UN Ban-Ki Moon and attended many conferences on climate change and need for sustainable investment and finance. Outside of class, Mimi enjoys running, playing tennis or has recently become started trying to cook and bake.

 

Antonia Pavoncelli

Antonia is a sophomore from London, United Kingdom, and Rome, Italy, concentrating in Environmental Studies on the Sustainable Development and Governance track. At Brown, she is part of the Sustainable Business Society, and this is her first year with FSIcon. Over the past summer, she worked in several marketing internships, including one for an ocean conservation NGO, Project Zero, where she coordinated the "36 for Coral" fundraising exhibition in Nice, France. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, painting, and spending time with her friends.

Elina Chen

Elina is a freshman from Los Angeles County interested in exploring Applied Math, Environmental Studies, and Psychology. Her interest in sustainability developed while attending summer camp in Northern California each year and going to high school in the scenic Ojai, California. She enjoys spending time hanging out on the Main Green, trying out different workouts, and discovering cool jewelry.

 

Angie Chae

Angie is a freshman from Manhattan, Kansas, concentrating in Business-Economics. She joined FSIcon to learn how sustainable finance can drive meaningful change and open the door to future solutions. At Brown, she is currently involved in Bruno Finance Society, Korean American Student Association, Women in Busienss, and Intramural Volleyball. In her free time, she enjoys cafe hopping, taking runs around Providence, and watching soccer.

Margo Donohue

Margo is a Senior from New Jersey concentrating in Environmental Studies (Inequality) and IAPA (Policy and Governance). Having experienced environmental inequities firsthand in Hurricane Sandy, Margo has since developed her passion for sustainable investing, community-driven solutions, and law as means for alleviating structural inequalities. On campus, Margo is an Econ TA for Dr. Mallory, writes for Brown Undergraduate Law Review, and has served as Philanthropy Chair for Brown Women's Collective. In her free time, you can find her in the ocean, or on land exploring museums and searching for the best cappuccino in Providence.
